Set it (MGE XE) to admin and re-opened the application and sure enough, even it updated to the resolution that had been set in game.
Some features are ridiculously heavy on your machine. Everything works just fine, except for some reason the game insists in running at 1024x768. MGE XE User Account Control (UAC) is that window that pops up when you try to run a program as administrator. For a discussion of MGE settings see Step 6. They're not there, its almost like the game is ignoring them or MGE isn't actually activating them. Re-posting this here because the people at Nexus are being unhelpful. Many people have worked on MGE over the years, and the sum of their ideas and hard work implementing them has improved Morrowind by a huge amount. If not, you might try troubleshooting or downgrading to MGE 3.8.0. hey guys so i got MGE XE and wanted to increase the UI because my eyesight is trash but no matter what value i put on "Menu UI scaling" it all stays the same size. If everything is working, youâre good to go! After realizing it was MGE itself (XE included), I troubleshot the crap out of it but could NEVER get it to work.
